Our house

Twenty-five years of careful teaching.

Hanlin Centre was established in 1999 and is registered with the Ministry of Education. The logo tells the rest: an open hall, a growing leaf, sky-blue room enough for every child in Singapore.

Mission

Nurture. Inspire. Help each student reach a personal academic goal.

We keep an environment that is conducive for learning and a constant desire to excel — without turning childhood into a scoreboard.

AEIS English specialists

Our key strength: English for international students entering Singapore schools through AEIS and S-AEIS.

NIE-trained specialists

Every PSLE and O-Level subject taught for the Singapore classroom.

In-house materials

Worksheets and notes included. No surprise booklists.

Every family welcome

Chinese, Malay, Indian, Eurasian, newly arrived — children, teenagers and working adults.

The mark

Blue for a clear sky. Green for growth. White for an open door.

翰林 is a hall of scholars. At Junction 10 it is also a Level 2 unit where a P3 reader and an O-Level physics student can share the same evening, in different rooms, with teachers who look up.

GROW

The leaf

Progress you can see — a hand that goes up, a paper that comes back cleaner.

OPEN

The hall

Small groups, not lecture halls. A child is a name, not a seat number.

BELONG

The sky

A centre that looks like Singapore: many faces, one standard of care.

What we refuse

Crowded rooms. Generic worksheets. Teachers who never look up.

Diagnostics first. Then an individualised weekly plan. Computers where they help, textbooks where they matter, and the habit of trying again.
